- Weekly: Minimum temperature remained above normal across the country.
- Weekly: Dry weather prevailed across the country while light rainfall reported from western KP.
- Decadal: Mainly hot & dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. While partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Punjab during mid of the decade.
- Decadal: Isolated heavy falls were received from central Punjab and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Moderate rainfall also occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, whereas light rainfall in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lower Sindh, north&southeastern Balochistan Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
- Weekly: Maximum temperature remained above noraml particularly in lower KP and GB.
- Monthly: In August 2025, most parts of Pakistan received moderate to heavy rainfall. Pothohar Region, northeast Punjab and Kashmir receive significantly above normal rainfall. Similarly, central Punjab, upper Sindh and southeastern Balochistan also reported slightly above normal precipitation. In contrast, most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Southern Punjab, lower Sindh and southwestern Baluchistan received below normal rainfall.
- Monthly: During September 2025, rainfall is anticipated to be normal to slightly above normal across most regions, particularly in the northeastern parts of Punjab and southern Sindh. In contrast, Gilgit-Baltistan along with neighboring areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir is expected to experience normal to slightly below normal precipitation.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) is both a scientific and a service department, and functions under the Cabinet Secretariat (Aviation Division). It is responsible for providing meteorological service throughout Pakistan to wide variety of interest and for numerous public activities and projects which require weather information. National Agromet Centre (NAMC) is an important division of PMD which has been setup to relate meteorological services to the most important agriculture sector of the country so as to promote the overall status of farming community. NAMC has thus been extending its services since its establishment.

گندم
پچھلی فصل کی باقیات زمین میں ملائیں۔ کاشت کے لئے گندم کی منظور شدہ اقسام کا گریڈ کیا ہوابیج استعمال کریں ۔منظور شدہ اقسام میں سویرا 2024 ، فلک 2024، عروج 2022، نشان 2021، نواب 2021، دلکش 2020، سبحانی 2021، صادق 2021، ڈیورم 2021، اکبر 2019 ، غازی 2019، اناج 2017، بکھر سٹار 2019اور فخربکھر 2017 سرفہرست ہیں۔
کپاس
آبپاشی بند کردیں تاکہ گندم کی بروقت کاشت کی جاسکے ۔ چنائی دن کے وقت نمی ختم ہونے کے بعد نچلے حصے سےشروع کریں۔چنائی نچلے حصے سے شروع کریں ۔چنی ہوئی پھٹی ترپال یا سوتی کپڑے کی چادر پر صاف اورخشک جگہ پر رکھیں۔ پھٹی کے ڈھیر زیادہ بڑے نہ بنائیں۔ چنائی کرتے وقت کپاس کے پتے ،سانگلی اور نا مکمل کھلے ہوئے ٹینڈے نہ توڑیں۔ زمین پر گری ہوئی کپاس کو اچھی کپاس کے ساتھ نہ ملائیں تاکہ ساری کپاس کا معیار کم نہ ہو۔گلابی سنڈی یا دیگر کسی سنڈی اور بیماری سے متاثرہ ٹینڈوں کی چنائی علیحدہ رکھیں اور اس کی آمیزش اچھی کپاس میں نہ ہونے دیں۔ کپاس کی آخری چنائی کے بعد بھیڑ بکریاں چرائیں تاکہ بچے ہوئے ٹینڈے تلف ہو سکیں اور پھر چھڑیاں کاٹیں یا روٹا ویٹر چلادیں۔

آبپاشی بند کر دیں تاہم ایسے باغات جہاں زمین خشک ہے اور پودوں پر نباتاتی بڑھوتری کا عمل جاری ہے وہاں آخری آبپاشی ضرور کریں۔ اگرپودے پر نئی شاخیں اور پتے موجود ہیں تو ان پر کسی بیماری یا کیڑے کے حملے کی صورت میں اس کا تدارک کریں۔ پودے میں کانٹ چھانٹ کا عمل مکمل ہو چکا تاہم پودے کے اندر روشنی کی ترسیل کو ممکن بنانے کے لئے ضروری کانٹ چھانٹ کا عمل جاری رکھیں ۔ باغ میں کیڑوں او ر بیماریوں کے حملے کی روک تھام کے لئے حفاظتی سپرے کریں۔ بیمار اور کمزور پودوں کی صحت کی بحالی کے لئے پودوں کی چھتری کے نیچے تنے سے 10 فٹ کے فاصلے پر ٹرینچ بنائیں ۔بڑے باغ میں نئے/چھوٹے پودوں میں حفظانی تہہ ( ملچ) کے استعمال کو یقینی بنائیں۔ باغ میں زمینی لیول کو بہتر بنائیں۔

کماد کی آبپاشی کا وقفہ 20 سے 30 دن رکھیں ۔ گری ہوئی فصل کے لیئے ہر آبپاشی پر 5کلو گرام پوٹاش فی ایکڑ پانی کے ساتھ فلڈ کریں۔ کماد کی گری ہوئی فصل میں چوہے اور سیہہ سے بچاؤ کے لئے زنک فاسفایئڈ کے زہریلے طمعے استعمال کریں۔ فصل میں بیماری سے متاثرہ پودے تلف کریں۔ کماد کے گڑوووں کے انسداد کے لئےمحکمہ زراعت کی سفارشات پر عمل کریں۔
