RAMC Quetta
Regional Agromet Center Quetta was established in the premises of Agriculture Research Institute (ARI) Quetta in 1988 and started agro- meteorological observations in the same year. RAMC Quetta represents high elevated semiarid, rainfed agriculture zone of northwest Baluchistan.
Agromet data at the observatory of RAMC Quetta recorded on daily, weekly, decadal and monthly basis and send to NAMC Islamabad. The same data is also provided to ARI Quetta.
Crops Cultivate at RAMC Quetta
Different wheat verities are cultivated at the fields of ARI Quetta. Phenological observations of these wheat varieties cultivated are also recorded by RAMC Quetta. At the end of each season detail crop report is prepared.
